A Michigan Read is the unofficial student affairs journal of the University of Michigan. Since its origination within 1982, the paper has served as a voice of conservative and libertarian students at an otherwise liberal university. A Read, published biweekly, is funded by grants from either a Collegiate Network, & by advertising revenue.
National media routinely turn to Michigan Review staff member for conservative requires in university issues. Read editors use been quoted inside many news article, & use at times discussed affirmative action on CBS's 60 Minutes, the BBC World Service, & in various local television and radio software download.
Read alumni use achieved a few measure of profits in the national arena, working for such media outlets when National Review, The Weekly Standard, and ''Investor's Business Daily, and writing speeches for President George W. Bush. The big percentage of Read'' alumni be lawyers.
